Abel is the brand identity and designs created for Kasamahan at the University of San Francisco’s 49th Annual Philippine Cultural Night production. The word Abel means weave in Ilocano (a language in Northern Philippines). Baybayin writing—an indigenous Philippine script—is woven through the word to represent the delicate weaving of culture and history that occurred to create the production. The colors mimic the natural beauty and richness of the water and land of the Philippines.
